Botanical Name - Elaeocarpus ganitrus is a plant found in India, south asia, Australia and world wide. Rudraksha seeds are used for prayers beads or Mala in Sanatan Vedic Hindu faith.

Rudraksha is a sanskrit word consisting of the name Rudra means Lord Shiva and Aksha means Third eye.
The evergreen Rudraksha trees gives fruits within 4 years.

The chemical constituents present in Rudraksha or Elaeocarpus ganitrus are Elaeocarpidine, isocleaocarpine, epiiso elaeocarpiline, rudrakine, flavonoids, quercitin, phytosyerols, fat, alkaloid, ethanol, proteins, gallic acid, etc.

Benefits of Rudraksha :- In our Sanatan Vedic Culture, the Rudraksha is believed most holy as it is related to Lord Shiva.  According to the ancient vedic scripture, Rudraksha beads or Mala are formed from the tears of Lord Shiva.
